Trust identified as key factor in Carmarthenshire IT firm’s growth plans
Newcastle Emlyn IT services company Telemat IT has recently been awarded a prestigious IT Business Trustmark as part of its plans for growth in 2013.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Social Enterprise Antur Teifi, Telemat has been providing IT advice and services to clients throughout Wales since 1996 and it knows very well what companies need from it in order to keep a long term relationships going.
Telemat’s Operations Manager Clive Davies, who has been with Telemat from its inception, has set ambitious growth targets for the company this year, and he knows that building trust with clients will be key to reaching those targets.
‘We know that our clients need a competitive and efficient service when it comes to their IT systems. They are more reliant on their IT systems performing with consistency more than ever before,’ said Clive,
‘That means, we need to perform consistently, be fully updated ourselves with new developments, and be able to provide a timely, cost effective service,’ he added.
Clive is pleased that Telemat has been able to demonstrate this level of service, and some of the current clients that have been clients since Telemat opened its doors in 1996 are testament to that.
That level and quality of service over the years has now been rewarded by the awarding of an IT Business Trustmark by CompTIA, an International IT Industry trade association that aims to promote good practice within the IT industry.
One of only 5 companies in Wales to have been awarded the Trust Mark, Telemat is confident that the standards required to gain the recognition will put it in a good position to achieve its growth targets.
Clive Davies added, ‘We are confident that our growth targets this year realistic despite being ambitious. We hope to add to our workforce to help meet the demand in Wales for good quality, reliable IT services.’
