I Stacie Hopley, 16 oed o Rhydargaeau a Rhys Jones, 20 oed o Drefach, Llanybydder, roedd y syniad o barh\u00e2u a\u2019u haddysg tra\u2019n ennill cyflog yn un deniadol iawn. Felly, pan hysbysebwyd y cyfle i gyflogi dau brentis ddigidol trwy Antur Teifi, fe wnaethon nhw neidio ar y cyfle i gymryd rhan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Y r\u00f4l oedd cefnogi menter beilot Wi-FI trefi ar draws nifer o safleoedd yn Sir G\u00e2r – prosiect sydd wedi derbyn cyllid trwy Gronfa Gymundau Llywodraeth Cymru – Rhaglen Datblygu Gwledig 2014-2020, a ariennir gan y Gronfa Amaethyddol Ewropeaidd ar gyfer Datblygu Gwledig a Llywodraeth Cymru.<\/p>\n

Mae Rhys a Stacey yn enghreifftiau o\u2019r duedd gynyddol ymhlith pobl ifanc sy’n dewis cyrsiau galwedigaethol fel llwybr i gyflogaeth ac addysg uwch. Mae hyn y cael ei adlewyrchu yn y cynnydd o 32% mewn rhaglenni prentisiaethau dros y 2 flynedd ddiwethaf.<\/p>\n

I lawer o bobl ifanc, mae pwyso a mesur manteision ac anfanteision y gwahanol opsiynau sydd ar gael iddynt yn gallu bod yn anodd.<\/p>\n

Penderfynodd Stacie bod prentisiaeth yn opsiwn gwell iddi hi nag addysg amser llawn.<\/p>\n

“Roeddwn i eisiau parhau i ddysgu ar \u00f4l gorffen fy TGAU ac roedd gwneud hyn yn fwy deniadol i fi na mynd i goleg chweched dosbarth.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Roedd Rhys eisoes mewn cyflogaeth pan gododd y cyfle gydag Antur Teifi<\/p>\n

“I fi, roedd fy oedran yn ffactor yn fy mhenderfyniad i fynd am brentisiaeth. Roedd cael profiad gwaith go iawn tra’n ennill cymhwyster yn bwysig i fi yn enwedig ym maes TG.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mae gweithio ar y cyd \u00e2 Choleg Sir G\u00e2r yn golygu bod y ddau brentis yn ennill cymhwyster Diploma NVQ Lefel 3 mewn TG law-yn-llaw ag ennill profiad yn y gweithle.<\/p>\n
