A Carmarthenshire business, producing and distributing pet foods, has grown so fast that it has already commisioned a new manufacturing plant.
Cambrian Pet Foods of Pencader is truly a family business. It was established twenty years ago by Mr David Davies. He is supported by his sons Jonathan and Richard who are both Directors.
Best known for the brand Gelert, Cambrian Pet Foods relies heavily on IT for it’s customer relations database, production and distribution as well as accounts.
Cambrian Pet Foods realised the necessity of a reliable IT solution and this meant that they would need a supplier that could provide what they needed.
In 1999 Telemat was commisioned to supply and support the required equipment. This was the start of a partnership that continues today.
Telemat’s expertise has enabled Cambrian Pet Foods to use IT as an invaluable tool to manage their ever increasing business. When they took over the old creamery in Llangadog, Telemat provided secure communications between Llangadog and Pencader enabling rapid integration.
Cambrian Pet Foods have recently been awarded a contract to supply a major supermarket chain with their specialist pet food. This has enabled the company to embark on a £2¼ million development project.
Telemat are looking forward to working with this extremely succesful company to facilitate the smooth expansion of their business and on into the future.
